FAQ

Questions we hear every week.

Still not sure about something? Call the shop at (616) 450-3744 and ask — we're happy to talk it through.

Do I need an appointment?+

Walk-ins are welcome for oil changes, inspections, and battery testing. For diagnostics and larger repairs we recommend booking ahead so we can reserve a bay and a technician.

How much does a diagnostic cost?+

Engine diagnostics start at $129 and transmission diagnostics at $149. That fee is applied toward the repair if you have the work done with us.

What warranty comes with my repair?+

Qualifying repairs and parts are covered by a nationwide 3-year / 36,000-mile warranty. We'll note the exact coverage on your invoice.

Will repairs here void my factory warranty?+

No. Federal law (the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act) protects your right to have maintenance and repairs performed at an independent shop using quality parts.

Do you offer financing?+

Yes. We offer 6-month interest-free financing on approved credit, plus longer-term plans for major repairs. Applications take a few minutes in the lobby or by phone.

Can I supply my own parts?+

In most cases yes, though customer-supplied parts are not covered by our parts warranty and labor warranty may be limited.

Do you provide a shuttle or loaner?+

We offer a local shuttle within five miles of the shop and can arrange a loaner vehicle for repairs expected to take more than one day.

What vehicles do you service?+

Nearly all domestic, Asian, and European makes — cars, light trucks, SUVs, and commercial vans. We do not service heavy-duty diesel semis or motorcycles.

How long will my repair take?+

Most maintenance is same-day. Diagnostics usually take 1-2 hours. Major engine and transmission work typically takes 2-5 business days depending on parts availability.

What payment methods do you accept?+

Cash, all major credit and debit cards, digital wallets, fleet cards, and approved financing.
